About the director/teacher: Nacheska teaches classes both in the public and private venue here in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas of Texas. Currently she teaches Middle Eastern Belly Dance, Hula/Polynesian, Musical Theater, Flamenco Moro, and some Bollywood. She is also available for choreography for school projects/performance/class, workshops and special programs.Starting as a Ballet and Modern Dance teacher she now is a dance ethnologist and continually studying to improve her knowledge of cultural dance and art so she may share with other artists and you for understanding and joy.

*Belly Dance is an ancient and beautiful art form that lends grace, style, form, and technique to the dancer and fitness enthusiast. It is different, fun and an amazing workout!
Beginning classes are open to registration all year long and students get promoted to next level when ready...classes have no beginning and no end date. All students work at their own pace. Classes are on a month to month payment schedule or you can pay by the class if there is space (monthly payment students get first priority)...no commitment/contracts. Makeup policy...if you miss a class, you can make up in any other class offered for 4 weeks as long as you are a current student of Odyssey.
What to wear: anything you normally work out in and bare
feet; for hula pareo around hips and bare feet.

Hula Class Level 101 - Monday 9:00-10:00 a.m.. - This class is open to ages 6 through adult of dancers interested in the ancient art of Hula. We will learn basic Hula steps and techniques, the history of Hula and start with Auana (modern) and as we progress learn a bit of Kahiko (ancient) This class explores the rich history of Hawaii through their specific dance style...this class on Tuesday is for those who will learn a basic knowledge of the moves and style of Hula.

The class is performance based...but not for beginning students...ongoing and we take students anytime of year for this class (ongoing class but have 5 more spaces)
Beautiful Belly Dance 101/102 Saturday a.m. 9:00-10:00 -Start your weekend with a fun workout and dance the joy of another day... join your sisters shimmying into the weekend! This is a multi-level class challenging the beginner and helping the intermediate dancer keep her technique tuned...(this class is currently full...please check for one of our other classes)
Cost of dance classes are $35/4
classes mo. $5 for each additional class
$10 per class is the pay by the class rate; (this is good if you have a changing schedule or would like to try a class...)

"Weekend Workshop" occasional weekend specialized workshop either Saturday or Sunday in a different dance style...reserve and pay as you go...(because of limited space, if you reserve a spot, and do not cancel 24 hours ahead, you will be charged) ask to be on our email list for these! Next mini workshops will be Modern for creativity and strength, Swing dance introduction for Couples, and Bollywood 101 ($10 each) (open to all interested)
Lessons at our Private Studio or at your event: Each private dance lesson is one hour - and includes warm-up with gentle dance stretches, isolations, steps, combinations as well as working on dance, choreography or specialty work; Nacheska can also spice up your event with a program that will shimmy and shake you up and give you a great overview of this amazing dance form.
Studio Locations: The public "Shoppe" studio is at the Shoppe at 500 N. Kimball near HWY 114. (private studio located in Southlake is utilized on an "as needed" basis)

There are lots of fun reasons for a Belly Dance Private class...batchelorette party, friend/sister outing, club outing, or bring Nacheska to your next meeting to speak about or teach Belly Dance or Hula...this ancient art form is fascinating and she would love to tell or show you why.
$85 at our location for your group or private...$100-125 at your location...these are approximate prices due to vary based on drive times, events, amenities, amount of students etc....call us. We would love to share our love for the dance with you
